Well I had a doc appointment on May 17th and it went well. I lost another two pounds so since i have become pregnant I have lost 8 pounds. I guess it is a good diet for me. No, I just wish my body would stop reacting to bad smells. The babys heart beat was 140, good. We have an Ultrasound scheduled for the 1st of June so stay posted for a picture. We are not going to find out the sex we want to be so surprised as i want the families to be surprised.
Other than that we have to replace our furnace and central air, they are 22 years old and the air decided it did not want to work anymore. I am not going to be hot this summer. BYe
I bought and read Fahrenheit 451 today. Id have to say its one of the better books Ive read. It is a short book, with a simple storyline, and makes its main point clearly. If it is a book that you havent read Id highly recommend getting it and reading it. It is interesting though how much depth there is in the book if you really look at it. The part I found the most interesting was the importance of making everyone happy and its part in leading to the censorship and final banning of books. There are plenty of other places that talk about the literary aspects of the book in greater detail so Ill spare you my own thoughts. I just hope you take the time to read it and think about what it has to say. Keep your copy, youll want to read it again in a year or two.
It has been a while since I posted anything, so I wanted to post something. I have not been up to that much lately. I've been surprised how little has changed with Melissa being pregnant. She gets quesy around strong smells and a few other things along that line. However, we're more in a holding pattern than anything else. She's got more to do than me obviously.
I'm looking forward to the next ultrasound. We should be able to see a good deal more than we did on the first one.
I'm currently reading Hobo by Eddy Joe Cotton. Its a book that my brother gave me. I'm not too far into it. However, it seems to be pretty good so far. The author has been riding the rails for a decade and has written a book about his travels. Its a topic that I haven't run across before so I think its worth reading. I can't comment too much on the content yet but once I'm further into it I should have more to say.
