The holidays

Well we made it through our 1st x-mas as a married couple. I spent Dec 23-25 in Wisconsin with my sister and her husband. We had a great time. Marnie and Jeff are in the process of buying a house. Hopefully we will get more pictures up on the web site later next month. Chad and I will be spending x-mas with Chad's family on Sunday. Everything with us is going great. We will keep everyone updated. See you all soon. Love ya

I have a new job

I just wanted to update everyone on my new job. Recently my job at Pharmacia was eliminated because of the acquisition of Pharmacia by Pfizer. It was pretty disappointing because we had a good system and good people. However, that is the way it goes. A little change can be good for the soul. It actually worked out pretty well. I was able to get a job in Holland with Pfizer and started the Monday after my job at Pharmacia ended.

I am doing the same basic thing. However, it is a much smaller operation. We support a manufacturing plant in Holland and most of the IT support is local. This means that there will be a few more things that I did not get a chance to do before. I am looking forward to being able to go out to the clients' desktops and to continue troubleshooting at that level. I think that the experience should be a good one. Also, It is much closer to home so I will not have to put as many miles on my car.

The only downside is that the hours are 10:30am to 7:00pm. However, Melissa was able to switch her hours to 9:30am to 6:00pm. We'll still not have as much time together during the week as I'd like. However, we'll just have to make do for the time being. Hope everyone is doing well.

New version to actually be deployed RSN!

The new version is almost done. I just have one more bullet point to hit. Than, assuming no more bugs popup, I will deploy the new version to where you can actually see it. :-) The bugs have been the real problem so far. I keep breaking stuff that worked. Once that is done I can do a little better job of getting content on the page. Granted it will only be of interest to me. However, only I am the only one visiting the page anyway. :-)
