Pinning ceremony
Melissa had her pinning ceremony. My mom and Melissa's parents came out for it. I missed most of it with Sammi so I cannot really comment on it much. I was told it was a bit boring but that's par for the course with graduation ceremonies. I still do not know where the idea of giving out pins to the graduating radiology tech students came from but it is what they do apparently.
The most important thing is that we're getting closer to having a normal life again. She's passed her classes and that is one step down. Now she needs to finish her clinical time and pass the board exam so she'll be certified. That is all just step 2. Step 3 is the important one. She will need to get a job. She's supposed to work for St. Mary's Hospital as part of her deal with them. However, you never know if or when they'll actually have a job for her. I'll just be happy when she's around more. If we need to cut back on expenses than so be it.
